Chueca is a historic neighborhood in Madrid, officially Barrio de Justicia. Although not formally designated as “Chueca,” locals identify the area by this name due to its distinct characteristics and vibrant LGBTQ+ scene.

Chueca has become the gay district of Madrid where many businesses are focussed on the gay customer. Lonely Planet describes it as "extravagantly gay, lively young, and always inclusive regardless of your sexual orientation.". This is without question one of the most fun gay events of the year.
